The Sigmatek HGW 1033: wireless, multi-touch and
safety features
HGW 1033 - wireless control panel
The HGW 1033 wireless handheld panel gets the most out of it
ease of use. Firstly, the wireless data transmission makes
meters of cables in the production hall. Secondly, it has
mobile panel a 10.1-inch multi-touch display (PCT) that is suitable for
industrial applications and a wide range of visualization options and a
intuitive operating concept.
The modern HMI is already equipped with safety functions:
confirmation button, key switch and an actively illuminated emergency stop. When
inactive, the button will be grayed out. An illuminated red mushroom button
indicates that the HGW 1033 is correctly paired with the system and that the
safety elements are ready for use. As with the function-oriented
data, the security data is sent via the standard WLAN network,
but according to the Black Channel principle. With the wireless HMI, the
machine operator can flexibly select the inspection points and multiple machines,
operate robots or system units simultaneously with just one panel. For
this goal is a secure 7-segment display for machine identification
integrated.
A dual-core EDGE2 technology processor provides the necessary
visualization power, as well as the integrated battery pack, which provides 2 hours of continuous
guarantees use without charging the mobile panel. The wireless panel
supports OPC-UA communication and includes a USB interface as standard. Optional
an RFID reader can be integrated to, for example, control access levels
to authorize.
The HGW 1033 weighs 1,350 g fully equipped including
safety elements and battery pack - it therefore feels light in the hand
compared to other portable devices, thus ensuring a
effortless operation.
There are magnets on the handle on the back
which allows the HMI to be mounted on the machine component without any mounting
placed - a practical additional function.
