Amendment maximum current of the output relay

The specification of the ?2 Series controllers is adjusted from production date April 2024. The reason is that in these controls of the Mitsubishi Electric ?2 Series relays are used in which cadmium is processed. From production date April 2024 these will be replaced by a version without cadmium. This will reduce the maximum current load from 8A to 5A (resistive load).

This concerns the following types: AL2-10MR-D, AL2-10MR-A, AL2-14MR-D, AL2-14MR-A, AL2-24MR-D and AL2-24MR-A

Please note: If you use this maximum 8A, we have Currently there is still a limited stock of the old version with 8A.

End of life for the ?/?2 series

Furthermore, Mitsubishi Electric announced the end of production on of the ?2 Series, “Simple Application Controller”. Key components are not longer available and therefore production that started in 1999 will be discontinued after more than 25 years of construction completed and completed.

From October 1, 2024, this series will have “make-to-order” status production.

Alternatively, the models from the MELSEC iQ-F (FX5S) or MELSEC F (FX3S) series are used.

For now, most models are still in stock can be supplied and as indicated above with the 8A.
